In this oil painting, I wanted to explore the warmth and quiet strength of these sunlit flowers. I worked with a warm, muted palette—yellows, greens, and soft earth tones—to let the canvas breathe with the same gentle vitality that the sun gives to the world.

The sunflowers became symbols of growth and renewal as I painted them. Their petals, bright and reaching, felt like small rays of light rising toward the sky, gathering warmth, gathering life. Around them, the smaller flowers offered a softer echo, a reminder that even the smaller forms carry their own radiance.

Children of the Sun is, for me, a moment of gratitude—an invitation to pause and feel the light that sustains us. It speaks to the way we are all connected, all shaped by the same warmth, all held by the same sun.
